Grand Valley Connects (GVC), a homegrown resource navigator program at Mesa County Public Health, is preparing for a new milestone. The program was created more than two years ago and is transitioning to a new platform to manage its work called CRN.

Pneumatic tire forklift purchased by County
At their Nov. 26 public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved the purchase of a new pneumatic tire forklift for $107,834. This investment supports Mesa County Public Work’s Traffic Division, which relies on forklifts to load and unload materials for our annual pavement marking retracing program — helping keep our roads safe and clearly marked for all road users.

2025 annual software and hardware maintenance costs approved
The Mesa County Board of Commissioners approved $1.69 million in projected annual payments for maintenance and support of software and hardware utilized by Mesa County departments during their Nov. 26 public hearing. This covers licenses, updates, and technical support for various systems used by different departments throughout the County. These funds will come from IT’s 2025 budget.
