Some batches of Kraft Singles American processed cheese slices are being recalled. The manufacturer, Kraft Heinz, is recalling the product due to a packaging defect causing the potential for film to remain adhered to the cheese slice after the wrapper has been removed. If the film sticks to the slice and is not removed, it could potentially cause a gagging or choking hazard.

The 2023 Coordinated Election is right around the corner, and the Mesa County Elections Department invites you to attend upcoming election judge trainings to learn how election judges are trained to help maintain a fair and inclusive voting process on election day. All trainings are held at Mesa County Central Services, 200 S. Spruce St., in room 40.

During this week's Sept. 19 administrative public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Mesa County Board of County Commissioners and Mesa County Board of Health to encourage transparency and fiscal responsibility.

Mesa County has opted into Proposition 123, an affordable housing state initiative passed by Colorado voters in November 2022.
